Shawn A Burgess

Hello World

Having spent more than a decade in software engineering and technology leadership roles, I understand the varied needs of organizations across multiple industries and have learned a thing or two about how robust software architecture and user-centered design enable business success. User experience has always been central to my development methodology.

I most recently worked as a Senior Software Developer where I lead technical initiatives and architect scalable solutions using modern technologies like C#, React, and SQL. I am passionate about building strong cross-functional relationships across engineering, product, and business teams. I have a proven track record of leading strategic software projects that deliver value.

Previously, I have held roles across diverse technology environments, from enterprise insurance applications to life science SaaS platforms, spanning full-stack development, legacy system modernization, and technical leadership. I have a BS in Computer Science from Worcester State College, and have continuously evolved my expertise from traditional web development to modern cloud-native architectures.

In my free time I enjoy riding bicycles and spending time with my family. Let's build something great together.
